Office worker here. AI hasn’t been able to replace my simplest tasks never mind the complex ones. These tech CEOs are lying to everyone because of $$$. Great opportunity here for a political party to make themselves the face of the inevitable AI backlash.

I wouldn’t start celebrating yet. They say one thing in public and do the opposite in reality. Keep fighting until the regime has been removed is the only option.

Personally, AI seems to be nothing more than a glorified search engine, and one that makes a massive amount of mistakes at that. I’m an office worker and AI hasn’t improved one darn thing in my job, yet it’s being pushed on us anyway. Management only sees the $$$ when they can do mass layoffs.

Except, the demands are weak and too many of you are still acting like your colleagues across the aisle are rational actors that can be bargained with. That ship has sailed (to Epstein’s island). It’s pretty simple; don’t agree to fund DHS at all because there is no reforming evil.

Republicans had been making inroads in MN in recent years, threatening to turn a blue state into purple, but you have to assume now that’s been totally reversed. A reminder that this administration is as stupid as they are evil.

Can you imagine how ticked off the administration would be? Honestly shocked that this wasn’t the first thing Europe threatened over the Greenland issue.

What these polls can’t reflect is the depth and passion that people feel about a certain issue. My sense is that the people who are angry about ICE are REALLY angry about it to the point where people are going out to protest who have never done so before. There’s more to it than just the numbers.

You’re not wrong, but I do think Tillis’ approach is practical if not courageous. Much of the most insane policies coming out of this administration are coming from Miller and if you can get Republicans to at least turn against him if not Trump, then I would still sleep a bit better at night.

They just introduced Copilot where I work and IT was instantly flooded with requests to remove it.

Ironically, we are celebrating the 250th anniversary of people who chose to escalate the situation rather than submit to tyranny. The British then overreacted and lost and Trump will do the same. But what the governor is asking here, to let the tyranny happen to you, is a recipe for failure.

I’m very much over the constant messaging coming from the media and many Democrats that the left always needs to display restraint and respect while the right gets to be the opposite with apparently no consequences.

Senator, unless you are calling for Trump’s removal and actively working towards his removal then you are failing all of your constituents. His removal before he destroys this country is the only thing that matters. You should be beyond trying to still play nice with your Rep. colleagues by now.

How many times have these reps heard from their constituents since January to fight harder, be louder, and to bring Congress to a halt? Now they are going to act surprised that we are upset that they mostly failed to do any of that aside from the shutdown which they caved on in the end?

Just a guess from a Gex Xer but young people showed up across college campuses for Gaza and received hardly any support from the Democratic party establishment. I’m sure they didn’t forget that and thought to themselves “well, what’s the point?”

I knew someone who grew up in The Bronx in the 20s & 30s and they were always going on about how much of that borough was still farms back then. A little bit easier to build on open land than replace existing infrastructure.

I don’t believe that Labour has officially endorsed rejoining the EU? That would be the logical move but Labour, like our Democrats, seem to be stuck in this middle-of-the road, take no risks or bold moves type of mode that pleases or excites anyone.

Their “no” votes mean nothing to me unless they immediately work towards removing Schumer and Durbin.
