Its my number 1 Gothic novella when compelled to vampire literature.

It took 3 years for my parents to track one down. My father (who worked at U.C. Berkeley) found it at a book store called MOE'S on Telegraph avenue (sadly that institution went under because of the rise of digital market place-I'm looking at YOU Amazon.)
