I purchased upgrade parts to my old iPod from PartsPlusPods in Australia. I added a new battery with 4X the battery life, 4 memory cards to make the iPod have 1GB of memory, RockBox software, and a Bluetooth module.
I use the iPod on my daily walks and in my car.

I used to commute home every weekend via a 3 hour drive. Audio books were my savior. I had a library card so I could check out audio books from either library. Sure made the commute more relaxing and enjoyable. I caught up on a lot of classics that way.

My wife & I recently did a small group tour of Ice Age cave art in Spain & France. Part way into the tour it occurred to me there were no signs of war during the 40,000 year ice age covering the common ancestors of man.
Imagine what could be accomplished if we had that much peace in our lifetimes.
