On a flight from Helsinki to JFK and noticed the northern lights while north of Iceland (first time seeing them!). Took my camera out and I'm quite happy with this 2.5 seconds hand-held exposure. ✈️🌌
Looking out the left side of a passenger aircraft. The wing is visible with the Finnair logo at the top. Above is the night sky with Aurora borealis, with horizontal streaks of green light and purple hues going across the sky.

I keep getting this targeted ad on Meta platforms, and I appreciate that my habits have somehow tricked them into thinking I'm a woman (wrong) in California (wrong) who has been incarcerated (wrong).

Back in 2009, I wrote one of my earliest Wikipedia articles on Mandazi, a form of fried bread from Eastern Africa. Now that I'm in Kenya for #wikimania, I finally got to try it for the first time!

WikiAsteroids is now a mini arcade cabinet! 👀🕹️

I put this together during SXSW for our Wikihaus (https://www.wiki.haus/). It's been great watching people rolling through and trying it out.
