Me too. I grant Tragically Hip as “Canada’s band” but out of the choices given, I’d go with alanis too. That’s a great album.

From what I've been able to glean, it looks like Trump's "solution" will remove all means that Palestine has to prevent Israel from totally obliterating Gaza. And the West bank will be next.

I read the first book once. Long time ago - I don't remember it well. But what I really liked of LeGuin's was a short story, or maybe essay (that ambiguity is one of the things that makes it so interesting), called "The Ones Who walked Away From Omelas."

Meanwhile, the Trump family's purchase of Sazan Island illustrates exactly how American finance takes advantage of economic problems in other countries (this STILL due to the breakup of Yugoslavia in the 90s) to swoop in and buy up assets that ought to belong to the people of those nations.
