It's about finding what makes you comfortable at any given moment, rather than finding the perfect label that you'll never need to think about or change.
FWIW what you describe as reasons to not identify as agender mirror my own thoughts that lead me toward specifically identifying as agender.

Additionally, what you are called doesn't necessarily have to be 100% perfectly descriptive of you in all contexts and can change from situation to situation and day to day. This is especially with regard to being called something in specifically NSFW situations.

Just to be clear, Kory, liking being called certain things doesn't necessarily rule out being agender. If you're not comfortable identifying that way that's fine, but I'm agender and I really like being called by gendered terms.
