My gawd, deleting several years of photos that aren’t in albums on FB is such a F*CKING chore.

Just mucking about a bit with photographing minis I’ve just cleared from the workbench.

Been going through the cupboards and pantry taking note of every brand made in the US that I need to find a Canadian-made alternative for. It’s gunna be HARD giving up Cheerios for breakfast. 😜

May as well get some content moving here. One of my hobbies is going to horror cons and collecting cast autographs on laserdisc and vinyl sleeves (which are a PERFECT format for this!). Spent a bit of time framing and hanging some of the collection this past weekend:

Anyone else here an “older” user who’s finally made the decision to get off of Meta? Or at least start the process of limiting their activity on it? I never used Twitter, so this platform promises to be an all-new experience in format and content.

I’ve not felt the need to migrate social media platforms before, it feels a bit like moving house where you’ve put down deep roots - you have to go through your stuff piece by piece and actively decide what to bring with you, and what should go in the bin.

Today begins the process of stripping back my FB profile to its bare essentials for maintaining contact with friends and family, and making some hard choices about how to move forward with my three Instagram accounts.
