False equivalence. The profit of United Health ALONE could have funded all of the health care in the US all of 2024.

Oh, but they do. They really really do. We've been lagging behind the rest of the world since the 90s. All we do is pay more for worse outcomes.

The simple truth is this lie helps prop up the broken system. there is no perfect system, but what we currently have is the worst in the developed world.

Naw, wasn't hate. That punch was the resume of his entire fighting career. He saw the shot and smiled like it was his birthday. The bonus of laying Paul out was just the icing.

I understand your point, my caveat is I don't like using absolutes like that, because the universe sees that as a challenge to show you someone worse.

No... it's not Universal Basic Income. because UBI would go to every citizen. If it doesn't go to everyone, it's not Universal by definition.

And the fact that these HSAs are already primed to inflate healthcare costs... it's still a net loss. Like many COLA raises.

The worst of it. The common people enable it. They choose the convenient path over quality. Not even for a short-term savings. They choose bias, buzzwords, and nostalgia over quality and accuracy. Until the collective decides to hold those accountable, it'll only get worse until it collapses.

Which in the end, this is what these people want. They don't want to provide accuracy or quality in any of their ventures. They want money. You don't get rewarded for accuracy in these times, you get rewarded for sounding good. This is why quality has steadily declined over my 42 years in every area

Bet he's wishing he was an HDMI monster right about now.

Their sounding the alarm is worthless when they literally have the power to enact change.

And yet here we are.

I hate how this makes total sense to me.

Do not like one bit.

Except what the exec says does not match with the reality I see. Something did change. The whole "Don't trust what your eyes see" isn't a defense. Blindly believing when the data says differently is counter-productive.

Your being an outlier isn't evidence that everything is fine.

This wasn't a question of growth. Which is what you were attempting to fix. This is a question of "Why are the same people here... and not being counted?"

So yeah... you didn't read it.

Really helpful when you ignore what I said and assume what's going and what I've been doing. Super useful.
