i also hate it when people go 'i knew something was off about [cc that did a bad thing]'. It's just a really strange thing to say. it comes off as wanting to be right rather than empathetic to anyone who could have been hurt

like stop??? this is not about your preferred media personality. stop acting like you know these people personally and can 100% predict their actions. you can't idealize people like that and act like they're incapable of doing harm
