My kids (11 and 8) love it.

And having both kid(s) and dog(s) is doubly hard: the activities are almost entirely orthogonal. Taking a two-year-old to a dog park isn’t a great idea, and dogs on the playground don’t work either.

Yeah it’s a huge issue that nothing can get built and that it requires 10x cost vs. any other developed nation.

When you explain Prop 13 to people who aren’t familiar with it, I have found they are usually shocked. The whole setup is bonkers.
