Don’t know if we’ll get any rain though. Just lately these storms look threatening but we mostly get lightning & a tiny bit of rain. The lightning is the problem in this heat. We’re just a lightning strike away from a major fire. Everything is so dry now after a wet winter.

Hi Birdie. Not sure what your chronic illness is but I have Fibromyalgia. I think these invisible illnesses are so damn hard. People just don’t understand what we go through.
I live with pain everyday. It’s just the level of it that varies.

Life sucks sometimes. I lost my brother last Tuesday. I’m not doing well. But I had an early morning walk by the Lake & stopped to admire the Pelicans on the calm water. It was a beautiful perfect Autumn morning. It soothes my soul.

I have a Schnauzer too. My little Martha. My baby. She doesn’t look so good today as she’s been playing in the rain. Badly needs a bath but she’s going to groomer on Monday & that should fix the little feral dog up!
