Yep...makes little sense. I would assume once the new area is open, whenever that is, it will stay open later. But that certainly isn't this year. Why not wait to paint it until Sept / Oct.

When we were there at Thanksgiving...this was a party morning....we did Buzz, Space, and then got in line at Tron at about 7:50 and the ride was already going (8:00 regular opening). I think it may be hit or miss if it will actually start running prior to regular opening.

Sounds like great hours for one of the busiest days of the year. Let’s keep AK open til 6 and not open HS til 9….

Third busiest week that coincides with at least one party every night except Thanksgiving night itself and no expanded hours at HS or AK. I don't get it.

So they add Premier Passes while keeping the time slots at a minimum for MultiPass? We have been very unimpressed with the new system this week. So much so that we are contemplating just rope dropping when we are here Christmas week and then enjoying the resort.

We went to Disneyland last summer for the first time. Are out of state APs at WDW. We enjoyed DL so much more. Going back this summer.

People have posted on FB and other places that they are booking VIP tours as a "backup" and are then if they can purchase the LLPP they are cancelling the tour 7 days out. That is unfair to the tour guide. I am hoping Disney puts an end to that loop hole.

Any thoughts on the lack of extending hours for Thanksgiving week? AK is closing at 6p Wed-Sat, HS not even opening 30 minutes early on Thanksgiving. Granted Lightning Lanes are much less than I thought they would be during the week, but the last 2 years Thanksgiving week has been super busy.
