Same with my sister on the Gold Coast. These old incentives are gone or grandfathered in at a cheap rate. In WA this new incentive has VPPs (virtual power plants). We agree to send surplus from our batteries during a set number of predetermined “events” (summer peak) and get paid $1 per kW.

I moved from New Hampshire to Western Australia and put 29 panels on my roof and 12kw battery storage. My electricity went from AU$400 a month to AU$100. With the new Aussie government subsidies arriving 1 July I’m now adding more battery and will soon be down to zero. Solar energy is everywhere.

I moved from New Hampshire to Western Australia and put 29 panels on my roof and 12kw battery storage. My electricity went from AU$400 a month to AU$100. With the new Aussie government subsidies arriving 1 July I’m now adding more battery and will soon be down to zero. Solar energy is everywhere.

We relocated to Western Australia 7 months ago, in part to get away from MAGAts Voted postal for Kamala. As a dual citizen I was thrilled to dig into Aussie politics again and vote for Albo today & proud Australia sent a very clear message today. Compulsory voting is the way to go with 96% turnout.
