reminding myself of that really helps me remember that the critic isnt real and its just me having doubts or anxieties about my work being or not being "good enough."

i draw what i like no matter what others think. and a lot of times that inner crit is still there- "you cant draw this right/this looks awful and not at all like what i wanted it to." but i enjoy the process of it, even if it looks not exactly how i imagined. art is supposed to be fun, not perfect.

with everything going on in the world right now it feels so so awful to be asking for myself when others are suffering so much worse than “needing money.” but here i am, asking anyway. i am actively looking for things to commission.
