Conflict many thousand of miles from Australia. This conflict has done tremendous damage to the fragile concept of multiculturalism here in Australia. there is failure by both sides to recognise the pain each side is feeling. Politicians are adding fuel to fire Senator From Greens & Liberal MP

Was so disappointed by the dreadful unsporting behaviour of the gallery during the Ryder Cup. USA was noted for its civility and good manners. I loved that when travelling in US. The boorish behaviour of course is sanctioned by the current Administration.

Underneath the geo-politics and conflict is in my view the greatest and one could argue the most profound conflict that has gone underground or perhaps happening in plain sight, Islam V the Rest.

US have a President who couldn’t care less about the citizens. His supporters are self serving and sound like villains from a ghastly comic book. A lesson needs to be learned by the rest of the world , no one country should have such unfettered power. I include China and Russia.

Is it me being a grumpy person but I cannot tolerate when I have paid for a service being contacted and asked “ how did we do?” It smacks of Big Brother being asked to critique a person or service. I never respond.

US media has become so supine it can longer be taken seriously. Kümmels suspension is indicative of media owners who possibly share MAGA views. So a free and fearless press no longer applies to US. Redolent of 1930s Germany.

Now that US has returned to pre-Enlightenment times in my view all US visitors to Australia should only be allowed in if they can prove they are fully vaccinated. We don’t want a resurgence of polio or other communicable diseases.

Labor promised that Australia would and should have its own Centre for Disease Control (CDC) because of Covid pandemic. Given that the CDC in US is probably going to be decimated by its new projected leader it’s past time Australia looked after itself.

Returned from a delightful time in Ireland. People are friendly,scenery sublime and enjoying the sea food.
The most disappointing part was the car hire exorbitant cost and really poor service. Next time I will use public transport which is excellent.
