“Silent Equinox” is on display at UMass until December 3. While I still foresee audio being a big part of my video work, it was special to see this project living amongst the night sounds on campus: crickets, chattering students, and distant evidence of weekend shenanigans.

"Approach No 9.2" will close out this series. While I can always return to this process as a quiet meditation, it has served its purpose in this chapter of my life and I'm ready to move on to other projects. I'm thrilled to have several solo exhibitions scheduled to get eyeballs on this series!

WE WANT TO FIND THIS MAN! Not George Burns, but the other guy, who is also with a wax figure of George Burns in a photo held by the real George Burns. Who put this picture in his glove compartment then sold his car in Montreal in the early 2010s. He deserves to get this outstanding photo back! Help!

Last but definitely not least is little Tulip!🌷 She won the Best Greeting award with an immediate and warm reception. I could lead her into new experiences easily and her temperament is overall friendly, happy, and resilient. She’s a little vocal when she’s not sure of expectations. Love her!!

Foxy Foxglove started off shy and more interested in toys and wandering than saying hello, but once she warmed up her softness surfaced, making her stand out as a gentle little love. She has an open and positive attitude and my bet is she will bond fiercely with her favorite person and be their bff!

Meet Petunia🌸 This sweet baby wagged at me immediately, and tested high confidence with some working drive. Could use some help focusing but has food motivation and a positive attitude and high resilience. She will do well in lots of family arrangements!

This is Tigerlily! She’s a bundle of energy and enthusiasm! While very sweet, also a little unaware of her body and as she grows into a huge dog that probably wouldn’t be the best fit for small kids. She was all about exploring with confidence, but more play than work!

Hello to Primrose! She came in with an expressive and happy greeting, and confidently explored everything in the space. A bit vocal and unfocused as our time progressed, however, suggesting a little lower resilience. She will do great in a home that isn’t constantly busy and stimulating. Sweetie🌹

Meet Snapdragon AKA Snappy D! His test was… odd. He had a high startle but when he recovered he was amped, driven, and food motivated, full of wags. We are thinking he’s having a fear period and would do great with dog mentors and some structured training. CUTE!!

This is Bluebonnet! He has a very sweet disposition and is eager to work for cookies. He’s the first puppy I’ve tested in 9 years to return to the tippy surface just for fun. Bit of a toy hoarder! He’s a versatile dude who would do well in nearly any home. Can I keep pls??

Wado is demonstrating the “umbrella pop” test. You can see he startles, but doesn’t react negatively or retreat, and keeps an open expression followed by wags at the tester’s voice (not visible). This is a great response! He is aware and healthily cautious while maintaining confidence 💪

We’re back! The testing area is set up and Wado is ready to meet our next “Spring Blossoms” litter 🌸🌷🌸
June 11, 2025 at 4:03 PM
We are done for the day so special thanks to Wado, who still claims his puppyhood at nearly 2 years old. He checked in with each puppy’s response to a big dog. Most pups are spoken for but we might have one male and one female available 🐾🐾

Back tomorrow with SEVEN MORE!

Last of this litter is the stunning Ripple, who tested beautifully in confidence, friendliness, and motivation to work for a handler. That paired with his structure and coat color make him a keeper! He will be renamed and staying here with his breeder, Tonomi Malamutes if you’re curious!
June 10, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Hi Puddle! 👋 A guy on the go, will work for food! Higher energy for the breed, social, but a little cautious. We will match him with a family who can keep him confident and busy. Such a handsome fellow!
June 10, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Meet Wellies! This sweet boy tested soft as they come. He’s The Dude. Chill AF. More cuddles please. Would really rather not be assigned tasks or work, and is built to be a kid’s bestie for life. Bring cookies?
June 10, 2025 at 5:58 PM
This is Brolly! She’s got a similar vibe as Splash but more focused on finding a trustworthy human to connect with, cuddle with, and show off her toys and retrieve skills. She would do well as a diva show dog or a home that could give her tons of attention and a job!
