What the hell does that even mean? How do you compare 2.9% to $1200?

For $1200 to outpace 2.9% inflation you have to make less than $41,400 per year. They should just start quoting inflation in dollars, then we would have even less idea what they're talking about.

yep, now they all have plausible deniability. “Really Sir, I wanted to vote against releasing them.”

Agreed, but it should go beyond that. The target of the frivolous lawsuit should be awarded damages large enough to discourage this type of lawsuit. Maybe 3x the amount they were suing for.

I get the impression that Trump thinks reducing inflation will create a corresponding reduction in prices.

A couple points right from the DoorDash report:
1) Average cost of a cheeseburger, soda, and fries has risen just 3.8% over 12 month
2) The Breakfast Basics Index has decreased 14%
from March to September, driven largely by the
decrease in the price of eggs.

Neither of these is actually good news.

Insurance companies have some mighty impressive NY skyscrapers.

I agree that the Dems should focus on positive things they can do. I would like an “Erase Trump” GoFundMe created with the goal of undoing ALL of Trump’s gaudy changes.

No, it’s not too late. The money donated for the ballroom can be repurposed to rebuild the east wing exactly like it was.

What about the book of blank pages Trump presented in 2017, doesn’t that count?

Putting words in someone else’s mouth is not freedom of speech, it’s slander.

I know that question is rhetorical, but I doubt the man that has spent more than $70M golfing in the last six months really cares. Republicans used to be concerned about the burgeoning national debt.

“thoughtful feedback” has to be the best euphemism ever. Sinclair wins the Internet for the day.

And when Comey wins, or the case is dismissed, he should get a large settlement. Also, any lawyers involved should be referred to the Bar Association to investigate whether their actions were ethical.

Isn’t being aware of a crime and doing nothing a crime in itself?

Most of us knew ending the war in 24 hours was the musings of a simpleton. I didn’t expect us to give up negotiations because it is hard. A new, embarrassing low.

The minerals Trump wants are in the Donbas region, which Trump plans to cede to Putin. Somehow this is lost on Trump; he’ll end up with nothing from that minerals deal.

I hope Greenland takes a page out of Trump’s playbook, declares Usha Vance an enemy combatant, and imprisons the U.S. delegation.

So, this is the best deal our master negotiator could manage? What became of the ceasefire agreement we forced Ukraine to sign?

I’m betting people struggling due to the price of housing and food won’t feel too sorry for those vacationers. 😂
