Tonight’s sunset reminder of the beauty that remains regardless

Sitting here reminiscing about October last year, of how peaceful & happy I was back in the land I got to call home for 10 years as a kid. Especially sitting near a bridge my Great Grandfather would have passed over before moving across the pond.
I also had hope back then too…hard to feel that today

Took a walk in the woods today to enjoy quietness & peace, to push off the feelings. Don’t know what tomorrow will bring and I would be lying if I said I did not feel sadness tonight.

I am in logistics I normally send a warning out to everyone letting them know what was about to happen I did it with the steel tariffs and right before everything went chaotic in 2021. This time…nah that’s what they wanted so I will be sitting back sipping on my tea and saying this 😂
