I usually use simple fonts like Ms shell dlg 2 or Arial. For the background I wouldn't use that light spray because it takes a lot of attention away from the character and makes the text almost disappear, I can share some links as examples in chat

Some observations, the font you used feels bold, almost like it’s in caps lock, and the color blends too much into the background, making it hard to read. I really like your character’s design, but the arms are a bit short, using some anatomy references could make a difference. Hope this helps!
