the third page of a four page greyscale comic: cut to the ending of mgs1 where snake and meryl ride off on a snowmobile. smirking, snake thinks, “well that was a load of hot garbage.” the next panel cuts to snake at his alaska cabin, visibly unkempt, thinking ‘oh shit’ as he opens the door to a runny-nosed otacon. the fourth page: a series of panels where snake is closely observing otacon, getting closer and closer to him throughout various scenarios (otacon talking about philanthropy, the two outside with the dogs, otacon on his laptop on the couch) until in the third and final panel he’s nearly nose to nose with him. the entire time snake is going ‘hmmmm’ in the background, with images of otacon doing various things overlaid, until finally otacon has had enough and has run off flustered, thinking, “oh god is he planning to kill me”, leaving snake to his ponderings.
