I’m American (please don’t hold it against me) and I think it’s wildly inappropriate and offensive to say this anywhere. Most Americans don’t want to be a part of this fascist shitshow. Why would anyone think Canada wants to join us? Every new day here is more insane than the last.

I’m a US citizen. This is accurate, not rude. I feel mortified and helpless right now. I was embarrassed during his first administration. Stupidly, I was shocked when I lost rights to my own bodily autonomy. Now it feels surreal to see what I thought we stood for being illegally dismantled.
