in other news: i have ported most of the status effect icons to a new style without any outlines. this new style doesn't have any shading--i figure they're too small.

as a fun fact: there is tentatively one new keyword that is shared by all three of these images. if you can figure it out from these three i will be very impressed.

i am thinking i will push a new build this sunday. it might be arguably worse than the previous one as i am starting to veer into more experimental territory. but, i honestly think that's a good thing... means i'm still working on the game!!

other things: trying out some new sound effects (specifically for the buttons).

i would like to improve a number of the sounds in the game.

also, i originally took a screenshot of this one without the shading layer applied. honestly, it still looks pretty good. this may be a style option i should explore for some cards.

i also think i might try to adjust the shading layer to make it look more like the lightning bolt is being reflected.

i'm not sure if i want to immediately push a new build with these changes, or if i want to wait until e.g. sunday.

the thing is, if new builds show up in everyone's feed in itch, uploading a new build literally every night would be pretty spammy.

a couple other changes from today:
- the sex scene now has cum. this was really annoying. i forgot that blender takes years to export animations to glTF. but, i would like to do additional 3d animations in the future...
- scrolling the mouse wheel now zooms the camera.

honestly, the main reason calm nerves? looks like this now is because it is fun to draw dicks. but also i feel like it kind of goes hard now, so the card's effect feels kind of weak in comparison to its art, lol.

i am already working on some more changes i want to push, so I think the plan is working.

if i'm feeling inspired, i may upload some more work in progress pics and such here.

i will say, i am trying from the get go to make this game work on android. and i think so far it seems like it will be quite fun on mobile.
