"Temet nosce"

This is the only warning: I'm into a variety of games and writing. I post weird stuff here as an amateur, mature stuff elsewhere. BattleTech, tabletop roleplaying, Pokémon, and similar hobbies are fair game to be represented/discussed here.
I remember WordPerfect, that was my first "real" word processor. (5.1 to be precise...)

Shame it died out. Reminds me of how all software I used to know of just either was always shit or... became shit. (Norton tools for instance.)

Using AI to write makes you a writer, in the same way repackaging and rebranding goods makes you a visionary entrepreneur.

I'd say he's more "slimy" than "sinister" because I grew up in the 80s and 90s knowing he was a piece of shit. Then "The Apprentice" happened.

That's VERY strange. I didn't see it, but then I'm not actually logged in.

A quick jump over there shows it not being up on their timeline. Which still could mean "oh shit, let's hide that" was a reaction until we hear otherwise.

So... yeah.

Also, that's over on the OTHER social media platform, not here. Hmm....

"But why no November classes?"

Because laptops are almost on par with cheap desktops anymore?

... also you know more about computers than most.

And then think of them six months to a year later....

He'd said close to those exact words, nearly, about the Haitians in Ohio. "If I have to make something up to bring attention to it, I will."

More than likely because of the framing of it being "Republicans out to get him". (And yeah, Gingrich was.)
November 14, 2025 at 3:58 AM
Hey, remember how much it was tried to make it into a *joke* about how that went down? I recall either it was "not a big deal, just Republicans out to grind an axe"... or it was "totally inappropriate and no other President would ever".

I remember how the idea Bill Clinton was a horndog *helped*.

Weren't... weren't there already lots of 3D models being used already? Like, if that got fed into the genAI stuff, wouldn't that mean it could be slopified already?

There is always a good place for referencing the esteemed Foglios. :)

I've been using Ion Sparrows on and off since Bryan introduced me to them in "Lone Wolf and Fox". They are incredibly efficient, like their namesake, but...

... if you hit it, it's probably dying. Which puts it on par with a Locust for survivability.

In Alpha Strike, they're just as fragile but they are horrible (but slightly expensive) skirmishers. They have "Jump Strong", making them have a +5 to be hit while jumping and only a +2 to hit its targets.

In Classic: For those who need a bit of context, jumping 10 hexes is a +5 to be hit. The targeting computer means it's a +2 to hit other people, same as if it had run.
There is a version which carries a pulse laser, though it has no targeting computer. (This means its main weapon fires at a +1.)
