I think once you pare down the default config it's super helpful.

DuckDB can create tables directly from the CSV files and makes it super easy to run some calculations on a bunch of things

I'm not very good with SQL, but DuckDB makes it easier for me lol

I'm also hoping to do some more data siencey stuff with it since that's a new field to me

It's a web app for a game called Out Of The Park Baseball. My friends run a discord where people can manage a team, but everything is done by one person who owns the game.

The game can do a CSV export of everything. I'm using that to make a team manager to make that one person's job easier.

A guy in my neighborhood wanted to start a coding club for kids and I joined, eventually started managing some WordPress sites with him.
