King has so many ideas he fits them in a template, decorates them with thin characters and events, then studios just like to execute them and put his name in the poster cause they are viewer magnets. I don't despise them they just leave a plastic taste in my mind afterwards.

My favorite moments including spoilers: Del Toro's funny surrender dance, Sean Penn's tough villain, car chase scene really has a stomach effect on big screen, life is a struggle on and on overall theme and the hero does not save the girl but herself
