after events today - this remains as relevant as ever - and i hate that people still do not understand that you do not need to make a spectacle out of someone's lived experience in order to have people develop empathy / generate some empathetic mindset or whatever terminology people want to use

listening to sufjan stevens' carrie & lowell this afternoon - was fortunate enough to snag the tenth anniversary edition - what a soft and deeply sad album but it will always be one of my favourites

when I was in Canada I had cornbread for the first time and it was SO GOOD and of course I got the recipe from my friends and because (1) I miss my friends and (2) I miss the cornbread she made specifically - I made it today HAHA fastest bake ever ngl
