It is easier to do concurrency right in Haskell… That might resonate with polyamorous people!
This year, why not do the #AdventOfCode in #Haskell with your polycule?

Not a surprise to anyone following this subject and exercising critical thinking about it.

#GenAI is a marketing hype most of all. Definitely not a valid research lead to #AGI.

Several weeks ago, with the help of Cat 1 and Cat 2, I made the ultimate calming GIF to use this Sunday morning. Please share with anyone in mental distress. It is not to be used by Blades, for they must suffer for their crimes!!

"I'll just switch my dick pic to a crucifix, now I'm in politics!"

— Randy Feltface

It's a terrifyingly accurate description of the current state of politics in the USA.

I told a friend that by the end of Trump's term, I expected Musk to have a done a couple things that could eventually land him in jail. I would not have bet "breaches rules of security clearance by force in the first month".

I've always been shocked by the prices of uni textbooks. It is especially bad when you just want to peek at a short passage or search something you're not even sure is there.

This is why I love extraordinary languages like Haskell, Common Lisp, Racket or Factor: they let you do in 2 lines what good languages let you do in 10–20 and bad ones in 50–90…
same code in haskell, using deriving:

data Tree a = Leaf | Node a (Tree a) (Tree a)
deriving (Functor, Foldable)

t = Node (1, Node (2, Leaf, Leaf), Node (3, Leaf, Leaf))

size :: Tree a -> Integer
size = length
sumTree :: Tree Integer -> Integer
sumTree = sum
mapTree = fmap

foldrTree = foldr
