Kenzo lays on the ground bleeding, looking up at a furious kobold, holding his weapon towards Kenzo. Rook, so focused on the heretical traveler, fails to see the multiple glowing eyes emerging from the mist. [6/6]

Kenzo barely has time to draw it before Rook has charged him with his short sword. The sound of clashing steel and physical blows echo briefly through the misty forest as the struggle is over in less than a minute. [5/6]

Rook unyielding, and upon seeing an old sigil give off a flicker of blue light, has what he considers to be confirmation of heresy. The same moment Kenzo sees the flicker of blue light, he gives off a defeated sigh and quickly reaches for his dagger. [4/6]

Rook awaits a minute to confirm his suspicions, before stepping out to demand immediate surrender. Kenzo, startled, attempts to defuse the situation by raising his hands and insisting he means no harm. [3/6]

Cautious and silent, Rook steps towards the light. There he finds a lone bird-like traveler named Kenzo performing a quiet ritual with old sigils. [2/6]

A blue-scaled kobold named Rook moves silently through the mist, keeping patrol around his war band’s camp. As he moves through the decade old trenches, the crumbled ruins of long defeated fortifications, and the centuries old forest surrounding it all, he spots a faint light in the mist. [1/6]
