i just feel like an anthology style show with winona ryder playing different characters could have been a neat way to subtly flesh out the lore while keeping each season feeling fresh instead of artificially extending the lives of characters whose stories ended p definitively after s1...but $ talks!

and like. season 1 of stranger things is excellent! or at least i remember it being excellent...its been a while since i watched it. but i didnt need more, and yet they gave me more anyway. i guess.

my eternal hot take is that stranger things should have been an anthology series with a new plot each season and familiar elements carrying over to connect it. kinda like how every final fantasy game has chocobos and a cid but theyre all deployed differently dependiing on the premise.

haha yeah i learned my lesson and will not be buying part 3 at all. i hope they stick the landing! but i dont trust them anymore and i dont think they will...

i disliked pt 2 so much that i sold the deluxe edition for parts on mercari, despite preordering it while unemployed bc i was so excited for it.

i think its a total failure of a game from both a narrative and mechanical pov. it misses the point of ff7 and was a bloated, unfun mess to play

sidenote. i did NOT know that lucas mother 3 was a twin. the little i know about the plot of mother 3 plus the fact that i am still a little too sad about hamnet the movie slash book...ah...
