I thought at first you were using a slightly mocking title for hearthstone, or something like it. But then I saw...oh, that's really what it is. Huh!

I'll surely say more about it, but in short, I wanted an energetic adventure-simulator, with a more Conan the Barbarian vibe than DnD is currently doing. More adventure, more lethality, less or at least different cliche.

I recognize it's silly, but hey, I'm not trying to replace DnD or anything. I mostly just find it really fun, and hope to maybe have a complete system one day! Maybe my friends will indulge me and try a campaign or two.

As it stands, I've got just about 30,000 words in, and it's maybe halfway to a third of the way done with what I think it needs? I have a bare-bones combat system, some equipment, rules for hiring followers, character creation, skills (sorta), and a lot of world lore, with factions and history.

But I really like to write, and I like playing with rules and numbers in my head, and I like creating tables and writing flavor text. So I decided I wanted to make my absolute-ideal of an RPG, set in my own absolute-ideal of an RPG world. And that's what I've set out to do.
