8. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson
My Favorite quote:
Bukowski once wrote, “We’re all going to die, all of us. What a circus! That alone should make us love each other, but it doesn’t. We are terrorized and flattened by life’s trivialities; we are eaten up by nothing.”

4. We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer
I wanted to love this book; unfortunately, I did not. The beginning was amazing and had me on the edge of my seat, but that feeling did not last. I started to get confused in the middle of the book; it just went over my head.

3. I Decided to Love as Me by Kim Suhyun
This book was breath of fresh air! It can be so hard to be happy with who we are when social media tricks us into thinking we are not where we are supposed to be in life. This is guide on how to stop comparing yourself to others, and love yourself.

2. Before We Were Innocent by Ella Berman
This book was not what expected. It was more slow-paced than I am used to. I like that it goes back and forth from present day 2018 to 2008 when the three friends were on a summer vacation in Greece!

1. Over My Shoulder by Patricia Dixon
This is a story of survival. It shines a light on the shame that victims of domestic violence often feel. I love the overall character growth that we get to witness. I don’t want to post any spoilers, but this was a great book!
