"Martin Scorsese Presents The Blues - Son House" gives a good overview of the work of Son House - one of my favorite Delta Blues players. While he sometimes lack in variety, he makes up with his aggressive singing and guitar playing, especially in the iconic "Death Letter Blues".

Also cool is how there were efforts to make a resonator harp with metal cones inside the body of the harp.

Not sure how might it work in practice, but it's interesting how creative people got when trying to amplify sound back when electronic amps and speakers didn't exist as we know it now.

Seeing the original schematics for the tricone resonator guitar (first type to exist) helps me appreciate the existence of the single cone ones (i.e., biscuit and Dobro style spider bridge).

Interesting how creativity, corporate rivalry, and hard times lead to such amazing instruments existing 💡📚

This Recording King brass biscuit resonator isn't the kind I'd get in the future, but it's not too bad for a budget metal one.

I've tried spider bridges and biscuits so it's nice to have that option to try tricones.
