Dunes Cantina, a bar that looks like an Old West building in a ghost town, full of weathered wood and looks about to fall down, but apparently was an operating business. It looks like it was built in a parking lot but apparently the beach was just in front of it.

"Mood" was arguably the culmination of that moment that pop-punk and SoundCloud rap found each other, and it sure feels like that moment is over now. But that 00s pop-punk revival didn't go away. Instead, it trickled into other styles of music. Pretty soon, we'll see the rise of another young artist who applied that influence to Taylor Swift-style stadium pop. She scored a huge hit of her own right away, and she stuck around, unlike 24kGold or lann Dior. We'll get to her soon enough.

I’m not 100% sure what the first record I bought was. I was told that when I was little, I was really into Shaun Cassidy’s "Da Doo Ron Ron” and possibly purchased it with an allowance, but maybe not. I think I might’ve purchased Weird Al’s IN 3-D from the Wherehouse in Modesto, CA.
