There are no tall buildings buildings at Van Ness Ave. and Bay Street, location of the old photo. Galileo High sits on the east side of Van Ness, Ft. Mason on the other. There is an apartment building on the SW corner which is two stories. The second photo may be at the other end of Van Ness.
