The Secretary of State of California announced a new initiative was cleared to begin collecting petition signatures SHOULD CALIFORNIA BECOME INDEPENDENT COUNTRY. It reminded me of a book called "Ecotopia" which was published in 1975. California, Oregon, and Washington seceded from the USA.

December 1, 2025 re-dedicating the Sanctuary at First Congregational Church of Dubuque UCC after an absence of almost three years due necessary structural repairs. The last time I remember being in service in the Sanctuary was Ash Wednesday on March 2, 2022. It is good be back home.
