Me before kids: omg I’m so busy.
After kids: I’ll get an hour overlap when both boys are napping today. I should be able to use the bathroom, brush my teeth (finally), shower, workout, do some focused work, wash dishes, transfer the laundry, and make date plans for the weekend.

I used to hike solo, at night, in the mountains, with my headlamp switched off.
Like a ghost in the night.
I could “feel” the trail. Every sense was honed - picking up the slightest variation in texture, topography, lighting.
Now I get nervous taking the trash out at night.
