There's art, camping, sports, cooking, garden and so on, on most to all social sites.
There are some really bad neighborhoods on these sites. I simply stay out of them.

On X, I focus on baseball, other sports, and what those I follow are up to. I don't dig a lot of what they're into, but baseball brings us together.

IMO, the excessive, unwarranted vitriol and anger is simply due to what people are ingesting. You are what you watch and listen to and that's a great segue for me.
