Checking in again. I'm still curious to see how this site holds up over time. As with the Twitter/X thing, I don't think I'll ever get used to the format with limiting character count in a post.

I don't know if I'll ever get used to these short notes with such a limited number of characters. I like to write long debates and discourses. As my Santa image might imply, I'm struggling to get into the seasonal spirit. I will continue to fight my way through though.

Hitler was on their cover at least 7 times and possibly more. I would have to check, but a quick Google search gave me at least that many different ones, including at least one "Man of the Year". Not always a good thing, just that they were a major news item and (in modern terms) an influencer.

after they opened it up as part of the general funds, they stole more than a trillion dollars from it. Both sides did this, so both are guilty of it and they know they can never pay it back. It was never supposed to be used for other things.

I'm still trying to adjust to the system and limitations of this site. I understand some of it, but find some of it frustrating. It will take time...

I know that there are those here that are not fond of guns. I respect that. My own wife is not a fan of guns...however...she is also a very good shot.

I consider myself to be an "enthusiast" and am happy to answer questions people might have about defensive choices and concealed carry options.

Well, here goes! Giving this place a try. In my time I have tried Geocities, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter and now this. I can only hope that we're still learning and evolving.
