It might end up being annoying still though: my chair is wide at the bottom and I tend to move it around depending on my "stance". When I hit the treadmill under the desk it annoys me to no end ^^

I also just realized that you mean something different.. I have a portable treadmill at work; you're talking about one of those integrated with your desk?

3-3.5km/h is what I usually do when typing (the former when in video chats because the treadmill gets a little loud otherwise). In meetings I walk >4. But I only do it for like 2 hours a day atm (logistic reasons, and the setup still sucks a bit), or I'd probably walk more slowly

I'm using one at work daily, but I'm not at the point where I don't switch anymore (and I don't think I'll get there). I'm using a barefoot shoe to walk on it and I could increase my pace while still being able to type comfortably. For complicated issues I tend to want to sit down though
