Sometimes it's a good idea to check out the full albums where '80s one-hit-wonders come from. Remember YOUR LOVE by The Outfield? Turns out the entire album is amazing.

If you haven’t listened to this album yet, don’t miss it — it’s awesome.

I found this book in a thrift shop. It’s a haunting disturbing masterpiece. Look at all the artwork.

Hmm. Well, until now I’d never read the original book which THE IRON GIANT animated feature was loosely based on. I like Chris Mould’s illustrations for this recent edition, but the story itself is surprisingly juvenile and not very well written. At least it inspired a fantastic movie.

Initiated a group of teenagers at Scout Camp to The Holy Grail as an outdoor screening. Some of them are British and still had never seen it. Now they are more British.

Fun Fact: George Wendt played Tweedle-Dee alongside Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid) as Tweedle-Dum in the 1999 TV version of 'Alice in Wonderland' -- in my view the best live-action adaptation of the Alice stories for television.

So long Norm....and cheers!
RIP George Wendt
