Technology, QA and Regulatory Compliance auditor in the pharmaceutical and clinical research field. Postage. Snail Mail. Postcrossing. Philately.

Would love to have penpals / do snail mail swaps. Trying to not be here much at all.
That's so kind! Thank you so much, I'll be happy to send you a card as well - we can exchange details in a PM

I'm sure those who receive your cards love them. Japan has beautiful cards and stamps! I'm in love with the Tabineko series, there's something so wistful & whimsical about it.
And it's probably true, I end up buying way more stamps than I need at the PO, I'm probably their easiest customer ever haha

Thank you so much😊 I try to pick cards people will like and put on as many different types of stamps as I can, it's part of the fun of sending out mail💙
Although I'm not sure the postal staff are very happy to see all the cards they have to cancel that day😅

This is probably too late to rescue your sleep tonight but I've found that valerian root/chamomile tea really helps calm me down before bed. Yoga Nidra is amazing too, just 20 minutes of it even in my bed helps so much! I play the audio on Alexa so I don't have any screens to look at.

Terrible, the least they can do is take time to make sure the message is legible even if it's short.
Short + scribbled on as if it's a random calculation on a napkin or a grocery note is just mean. It's the ones where there is obvious lack of effort/interest that are particularly frustrating.

I love this! It's beautiful!I'm sure the lucky Postcrosser receiving it will love it too.

One of my favourite books, there's a great melancholy about it that I enjoy, I often compare it to V.S. Naipaul's A House for Mr. Biswas because of the similar sense of ache it gives me of just someone living their life.

I made a poster for our Philatelic Bureau of the Postcrossing stamp releases, I love all of them! (Still missing a few in my collection though) There are a couple of more stamps (a custom one from Aland, and another from Finland that refers to Postcrossing but aren't official releases as well)

Ok hear me out, NFS, but it's on horseback. Instead of races being 10 mins, several days. Setting: Mongolia. Customize horse, unlock potential on build/experience. Craft items (food/potions) and gear. Navigate the open world yourself for the best race path. Checkpoints and varying terrain.

I've been putting off going to the PO far too long trying to shoehorn extra mail into my stack until it snowballed, amongst other things. It's so nice to finally send these on their way! I'll start a timer to check what the postage travel times are. Bonus: Stamps from 1997 showing beaches of Goa.

(2) Cook Islands: Bougainvillas and dancing

(3) Bangladesh: Curzon Hall and the 60 Dome Mosque

(4) B&H: Zvornik and Ikarus Aero 2BE
