I honestly think if we removed the ability for congress to make any money outside of their salary, due to the obvious conflict of interest, we’d start to see republicans quit or change their tune. We need ethics to return to DC. That can’t happen without legislation unfortunately.

We elected our representatives to represent us. We’re not billionaires. We want a good, fair country we can defend with authenticity.
We must stop the destabilization and attempted destruction of our government while we can. And we’re counting on Congress to figure out how and to do it.

Is it easier to change their minds because they’ve somehow taken on the belief that anecdotal evidence is stronger than actual evidence? Because that is pretty wild.
