Opinions are my own, and skeeter-deleter'd every month of so.
Loading zones are my favourite places to park, so I don't normally tell people—though it seems to word has gotten around—but unless otherwise marked a loading zone sign only applies M-F 6-18.

Keep it under your hat though.

Unfortunately her god has always had trouble with parallax error

Also if you are turning left you should be pulling out in to that center lane, not crossing it A

Want to read the text, but too distracted trying to figure out if the highlighting pattern is smart or crazy.

It's a good start. Maybe now they could do something about the dozens of homeopathic products lining the shelves every pharmacy

Product review: I like and highly recommend their products. I also figure the same, with enough sales they could probably manufacture in Canada. Like I was originally saying, what to buy is a tricky ethical question that unfortunately isn't really answerable by an app alone.

It might be, but that's because it's usually not a great idea. Using photovoltaic solar, a normal battery, and an air-to-water heat pump would be more efficient.

Maybe they have too much solar though and can afford to waste some on less efficient in-floor heating.

If you get the plate you can call it in with the description of the driver and the police will issue a ticket. You have to be willing to show up at court if they contest it. If you're not the police will still go to their door and give them a warning.

I have curtains, and there would still be a ton of evening sun during that time of the year. Plus then children won't be walking to catch the school bus in the pitch dark (like they have been here)

Also add the labeler to avoid seeing them: bsky.app/profile/xblo...

This will continue until we get rid of first-past-the-post. That's why I'm planning to vote Liberal in 2015.

Plus I really don't want to 'Buy Canadian'. Trade make us all richer. I want to 'Not Buy American'.
October 27, 2025 at 10:25 AM
The information alone isn't enough to answer the ethical questions. For example Chickapea is a Women-Owned Canadian company. They use a Canadian manufacturer. They require a specialized facility to make it though so they outsource that to the US. Is this a no-buy?
October 27, 2025 at 10:24 AM
Thanks. That doesn't tell the whole story though. It's not just where it's made that might be important but where the profits go. It can be a Product of Canada but still owed by an American company (or vice versa).
October 27, 2025 at 1:30 AM
I wish it was easier to know what to buy and not buy, both from a labelling perspective and an ethical one. E.g.: if the product is using a US ingredient but employing a bunch of people in Ontario to make it. Or if it's made in Canada by a Canadian company that was bought by a US company.

Added green tea face masks to my shopping list.

Is it known yet how good of a match this year's vaccine is to these Hong Kong cases?

Not sure I understand. Would a record station that played your song once, to an estimated audience of 40k people, result in them paying thousands of dollars? (So they'd pay millions of dollars a day in royalties?)
October 20, 2025 at 6:06 PM
I'm all for artists being paid fairly. I'm not sure that's a useful comparison though. A single 'spin' on the radio could have resulted in more than 40k listens, right?
