Lots of sketchbook drawing, planning for paintings
How my latest painting is looking, a detail of it I love, and my palette. I find myself looking more for certain textures and qualities of light than for actual physical "things" represented in my work, though the challenge to make those things come alive is still nice.

A painting in progress means many many versions of the same scene so I can literally never go 5 minutes without looking at it from slightly different angles.

Fight for your rights and the rights of those around you!!! There are lots of resources to help you draft messages to your representatives about issues that are important to you. These are two places I'm starting with, the ALA and ACLU websites. Make your reps. REPRESENT YOU!
