Big money out (cont). The government provides candidates a modest amount for campaigns, NO contributions allowed, private or public, no PACs, etc. All lobbying is public knowledge. We have a right to know what influences our politicians. Six months maximum for any campaign. Strict enforcement.

The Dem's need a key policy heading into the 2026/8 elections, something to vote FOR than just against Trump. One suggestion is getting big money out of our politics. I know it's not kitchen table stuff, but is fundamental to any real progress. Let's talk about how this might happen (to be cont.).

Just what is Turning Point (TPUSA) telling our youngsters? Well, you know Bernie & AOC's oligarch tour? It's just the opposite. The whole thing is a thinly veiled cover for wealthy capitalists to keep the pitchforks at bay. Add in some white grievance to attract disaffected teens - that's it.

ICE has not been able to provoke an incident. The demented buffoon is a liability. The GOP will prep a false flag assassin with left-wing credentials to take out Trump. Both will be killed in the process. Vance will declare martial law, democrats as terrorists, and suspend elections indefinitely.

Trump may not last the term. The GOP knows this, and Vance is unelectable (even MAGA doesn't like him). Thus, elections must go, if not before 2026, at least prior to 2028. Trump will try to invoke martial law and suspend civil liberties, including elections. Look for an event, real or imagined.

Competition is heating up for WORLD CLASS LIER. Long held by Trump, both Vance and Leavitt are making huge gains with this government shutdown BS. Stay tuned . . . .

Universal Healthcare - Access.

Rural access to healthcare is a big problem, both in finding the right doctor and in diagnostic tests. Therefore, do not have variable rates based on geography (which favors rural areas), and work on reducing the cost of medical equipment that requires centralization.

What say we return to the "long read" or videos with substance, which may be >10 minutes? The David Frum Show (YouTube) is a good example. His recent interview with George Packer is worth every minute.

If we have learned nothing since the turn of the century, it is that BILLIONAIRES SHOULD NOT EXIST! That's right, listen to Bernie, AOC, Liz Warren, etc. Billionaires invariably conclude that their best investment is bribing government. Tax the hell out of them, both income (inc. unearned) & wealth.

Universal Healthcare - Medical Records.

All computerized, no paper. Single file/patient contains all data (text, tables, images, audio, video, etc.). Open sourced file structure, public, owned by government. Minimal encoding for privacy, rest open for search. Think Rust based Linux.

Universal Healthcare (cont). I see 5 key components:

- Medical Records
- Diagnostic Protocols
- Compensation Algorithms
- Resource Management
- Income Sources

We'll take these one by one, starting with Medical Records.

Universal Healthcare. What is it? It's time to start talking details. First, the obvious. It's healthcare that's available to everyone, equal in access and quality, but how would it be structured, how would it work, what are the component parts? Let's break it down...

A popular meme in recent decades is, "we should run it like a business". Well, no. Some things should not. Government, for example, has fundamentally different goals (common good) vs business (increase profit & shareholder value). The same can be said for healthcare and basic scientific research.

There are about 150,000,000 new/novel molecules synthesized over the last century, most hydrocarbons from oil. Man has not encountered these molecules/compounds during millions of years of evolution. If you wonder why cancer and auto-immune diseases are now so common, consider that.

Another no-brainer. Induction stoves - efficient, fast, safe, what's not to like. Boils water so fast you hardly have time to get the tea bags ready. And it doesn't heat up the kitchen making your AC work harder. May cost you a few new pots & pans but well worth it.

More No-Brainers. LED lighting, do it now and never look back. Try an Electric Vehicle (EV) - 10 years now and will NEVER go back (ignore kook boss, go Tesla). Embrace AI, starting with the AI Assistants (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Sesame, etc.) Scary good/bad but it's coming ready or not.

What are the best things I've seen in my 84 years? First, is the advancement of power conversion technology, my field of interest and livelihood. It has made everything from wall-wart chargers to EVs to F22 Raptors to solar/wind power to be very efficient and well controlled. More to come ...
