Yeah crappy dated hotels in Banff are $500-600. In contrast, We had a beautiful private flat in Chelsea London a couple of months ago 100m from the tube station and walking distance to all the designer shops/Harrods for ~300/night

Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, Mount Robson, Golden etc.

I’m not a fan of airbnbs

I meant in large intl cities even, not large hotels

I was shocked there were so few hotels in/adjacent to national parks. So even downscale motels I wouldn’t normally ever consider were still MANY $100s a night due to summer demand/lack of competition. We did Jasper Park Lodge for $1000, better value BUT > 2-3x what we pay in large intl 5 star hotels

Years of experience are irrelevant if you fail to learn anything from any of that experience. A critical aspect of any senior leadership function is proactive contingency planning to deal with potential issues. AC demonstrated none, instead seemingly just banking on feds to solve it & blame FAs

I agree. We usually take our vacations internationally (have avoided US since 2016). Our 1 Cdn vacation to Alberta & BC easily our most expensive outside Galapagos. Hotels were outrageous $500+ & shockingly few options. Flight costs > than Europe/SA, plus needed car rental

Somehow this reminds me of Baby dancing while carrying a watermelon across the bridge in Dirty Dancing 😂

If Bick’s is only made for the Canadian market, it would make sense to make it in Canada. Otherwise sayonara
