I thought I would take photos of the old West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park before it is demolished. I photographed both the new and old entrance just a few hours before the West Entrance would enter its final phase, closing to all traffic from 6 am Dec. 3 to 6 pm Dec. 5 2025. While the new West Entrance will be much better, I can't help but think of some of the fun memories that I've had at the tiny old ticket booth, one I've been using since the early 1990s.
