last november, i got blockland on 8 color e-ink
a screenshot of old blockland showing the "demo house" save on the Bedroom map, but all displayed on an e-ink display inside of a wooden frame. lots of dithering all over, with little colors available on the display

(my casual phone photos wont show you how truly bright and vibrant this thing is... also i only have RGB for my sega megadrive at the moment)

also, you know I *had* to do this:
(is only through a blurry composite connection tho... either i get SCART RGB from my old computer, or i get a VGA monitor)

for the longest time I didnt really get peoples fascination with CRTs and super high quality RGB cables... but now i get it... i understand...... this thing is so bright and vibrant, truly a *vibe*

also it fully turns off the beam then instantly goes so bright - rivals very modern OLEDs in contrast

a friend gave me a CRT TV for free his parents were about to trash... my first CRT ever...
it turns out this thing can just take RGB over SCART and is shockingly good at displaying it, without any modifications needed. epic win
