Cool thing that happened to me (back when GC games didn't cost an arm and a leg):
I got this copy of Metroid Prime from a used game store, and instead of the Prime 2 demo disc, the person who stocked the shelf put the full game inside. No idea if it was intentional or not.

That was one of my favourite things about this book, which is the print version of an exhibition he did, talking and showcasing some Sunday strips. Originals on the left page, full colour on the right page. I love the insights he gives on his creative process, same with the 10th Anniversary Book.

I can see the same yellow and blue grain patterns in the previous scan also (like the wall and floor because they're light, solid colours), but slightly out of focus, not crystal clear. So I would suspect it's a flaw of the original photography, the same as chromatic aberration or lens flares.
