We don’t need solitary voices! We need a leader, a clear strategy and cohesion. Even if the strategy is not perfect, it can be fine tuned later! Schumer is clearly not that person. We need someone to step up and act as the leader of the Party. We are rudderless!

Its one thing for Trump to side with Putin, but for Putin to state that Trump needs to go further after being in political wilderness for so long - he must have something on him!

There are a few people who know the full extent of Trump’s connection to Putin beyond the Mueller Report - Andrew Weissmann, Robert Mueller and others on the team. Surely it is time to speak up for the sake of the country - pls!

Kamala was running for office, Trump was running to avoid jail for the rest of his life - who wanted it more? Trump promised anything and everything to win - even the impossible: to resolve wars and bring prices down on day one! He doesn’t care about delivering. He’s avoided jail!

I’m sorry but i don’t buy these tales of regret or the ‘I didn’t believe he would do it’ line. If your family member was undocumented and you still voted for Trump because of pocket book issues(!!) thats on you - no sympathy from me! Worst still, the tariffs or #TrumpTaxes will be a double-whammy!

When you systematically tear down expertise, such as in the medical field, people start doubting every expert. So that when experts warned of the consequences of tariffs (or #TrumpTaxes), the voters did not believe.

And this is his honeymoon period. After the debacle over the temporary hold on funding, would expect that number to go south quickly. Expect the first of many firings soon!!

Wow!! I’ve never seen Tapper like this. He seems genuinely reluctant to challenge Miller. I guess this is based on his previous interview with Miller during the first admin and what has recently happened to Acosta!

Guys, we need to listen to the electorate otherwise we’ll be in the wilderness for years. The last election was about strong leaders vs perceived weak libs and we know the outcome! Anyway, i get the emotion but why would she post this only to take it down minutes later?

Why focus on this? The electorate told us that based on the percentage of the population this affects it was a low priority! The R’s attack line was something like ‘D’s care more about pronouns than about you’ - ouch! We need to listen and not make the same mistakes!

Yes but Trump is intentionally flooding the zone with his 300 EO’s. If we don’t focus and chase everything we’ll achieve nothing! Would focus on the economy and popular legislation that Trump has undone which will have a negative impact. Followed by his age and time spent on golf course.

I now watch for someone like Catherine (who he clearly despises) to confront him on TV. Bakari Sellers tried to calm him down by gently touching his arm during a heated moment in another episode to which Jennings responded ‘don’t touch me’ his face full of what looked like anger!

Scott Jennings on Jan 6 was one of the Republican voices of reason. It is clear to me from the non-political moments on Abby Phillips program that he is a genuinely good guy. That’s why it has been particularly painful to watch his conversion to full MAGA over time on live TV.

Its tricky cos as usual Trump is flooding the zone with sh1t. Dems need to pick say 3 big ticket areas and really focus on them. Grocery prices are a red herring as no-one expects Trump to solve this in a week - save that one for later!

Unfortunately we Dems will lose this argument. Most Americans what illegal immigrants returned to their home countries quickly but legally - that’s what the last election was all about and we have to accept it. Dems need to carefully navigate this tricky issue!

But I still do not understand what has turned him so hard right to MAGA (i’ve avoided saying ‘radicalised’). Is it purely money? And the stuff about Sam Altman that he’s posting seems so vindictive and petty - can anyone explain?

This so far is the best explanation i’ve read. The ‘my heart goes out to you’ line never made sense to me. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if he was ‘Nazi/Adolf-curious’.

R’s want to get into get into a protracted argument about masculinity (Watters, Carlson and Rogan etc seem to be the tip of spear on this). This will be the next culture war after the transgender stuff. Pls D’s do not get sucked into this - stay focused on the key issues.
